Blyth AFC will be looking to turn their attention to on-the-field matters as they take on Knaresborough Town in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round.
The Braves beat Glasshoughton Welfare in the last round, while Knaresborough picked up a victory against Northern League side, Ashington.
Despite all the off-the-field talk through the week, Jon McDonald and Ian Skinner will be determined to get a victory this afternoon and progress through to the next round of the cup.

The Boro play in the Northern Counties East Football League and currently air seventh after winning two games from four this season. They are one league above Blyth’s previous FA Cup opponents, Glasshoughton Welfare.
After beating Northern League side Ashington in the previous round, Knaresborough will be looking to pick up another scalp from that league as they take on the Braves.
Following that victory over the Colliers, they picked up a 2-1 victory over Goole, but then suffered back-to-back losses against Liversedge and Bridlington Town in the league.

Winger Bobby Taylor said: “A lot of things are happening off the pitch, but the players and staff are fully with Barry. We’re going down to get the win today and we’re very confident we will do just that.
“It’s business as usual until told otherwise, the players are up for it and are prepared, we’re still hungry and want to carry on our 100% win rate.”
Admission costs for the game is £5 for Adults, £3 for Concessions and Under-16s are free.
